SchoolWide Labs Sensor Immersion: Launch

Guide your students to become scientists, engineers, computer programmers and inventors. It's easy to get started with Sensor Immersion.

Wondering how to get started with the Sensor Immersion Unit and other SchoolWide Labs free materials? Want to feel confident navigating our pedagogical approaches, computer programming, resources, and lessons? Join us for a two day virtual workshop to prepare to implement the Sensor Immersion Unit in your classroom or school.

Together, we will:

  • explore teaching and learning practices anchored in phenomena that are relevant to local and global communities.

  • experience lessons as a student and reflect as a teacher.

  • Consider how the materials can apply to your unique setting and context.

  • navigate the student- and teacher-facing resources to optimize student engagement and learning.

This workshop prepares you for Sensor Immersion, the introductory unit for SchoolWide Labs Units. We also offer additional workshops for other free units.
